Amazon Music has integrated Bandsintown’s concert data directly into its artist profiles, allowing listeners to look for tour dates, venue details and direct ticketing links directly on the Amazon Music app.
The deal announced Wednesday (April 22) comes almost a month after Apple Music announced a similar integration with Bandsintown.
With the latest integration, tour dates published on Bandsintown for Artists will automatically populate on corresponding Amazon Music profiles, with fans directed to Bandsintown to complete ticket purchases.
The rollout has already begun and is expected to be fully live across iOS and Android this spring, covering Amazon Music customers across all subscription tiers and regions.
The integration applies beyond individual artists as venues, festivals, and promoters using Bandsintown Pro will also have their shows surfaced on Amazon Music as part of the deal.
For Amazon Music, the partnership further expands its user experience as it already offers streaming, merch and livestreams.
“Being listed once on Bandsintown automatically reaches core audiences everywhere and now powering concert listings on Amazon Music will extend artists’ reach to even more fans worldwide.”
Fabrice Sergent, Bandsintown
Fabrice Sergent, Co-Founder & Managing Partner at Bandsintown, said: “Artists win when fans can find their concerts just as easily as they find their music.
“Live shows drive artists’ careers because of the remarkable experience they bring to fans and we make promoting them effortless. Being listed once on Bandsintown automatically reaches core audiences everywhere and now powering concert listings on Amazon Music will extend artists’ reach to even more fans worldwide.”
“we’re thrilled to team up with Bandsintown, so fans can now discover upcoming shows from the artists they love on Amazon Music, alongside streaming their music, catching exclusive livestreams, shopping merch, and more all in one place.”
Karolina Joynathsing, Amazon Music
Karolina Joynathsing, Director of Business Development, Amazon Music, added: “Live music is one of the most powerful ways fans connect with the artists they love—something we’ve seen firsthand through the livestream performances we’ve brought to fans worldwide.”
“That’s why we’re thrilled to team up with Bandsintown, so fans can now discover upcoming shows from the artists they love on Amazon Music, alongside streaming their music, catching exclusive livestreams, shopping merch, and more all in one place.”
The integration builds on an existing partnership between the two companies. An earlier deal sough artist merch from Amazon Music displayed on Bandsintown’s platform.
With the latest partnership, artists can connect their Amazon Music profile once through Bandsintown for Artists, after which any event they publish or edit on the platform syncs automatically.
Bandsintown says it reaches more than 100 million registered fans globally and publishes roughly 2.3 million events annually across more than 700,000 artists and 65,000 venues. The company also has partnerships in place with YouTube, Google, Spotify, Apple, Shazam, and Bing. Bandsintown also offers integrations with website builders like Bandzoogle Squarespace, Wix and WordPress, along with link-in-bio tools like Feature.fm and Linktree.
In October, Bandsintown launched Bandsintown for Artists Marketplace, which links artists with third-party services for music distribution, fan data management, and merchandise sales, among others.
Through the marketplace, artists can discover tools to distribute their music via partners like CD Baby, Cobrand, DistroKid, Groover, Musixmatch, ROSTR, SymphonyOS, Too Lost, TuneCore, un:hurd, and UnitedMasters.
